Our intake nurse, Lesley Atton is back to rocking her classic ‘do! After almost four long years of growing her hair out, Lesley cut off 16 inches (almost ½ a pound!) of hair to donate to for Wigs 4 Kids. Not only does she look great, but her long-standing determination and compassion will provide a wig, free of charge, for a child with hair loss due to a medical condition or accident. Way to go, Lesley!
Lesley is the person that you can expect to pick up the phone when you place a call to our office. Prospective clients have a chance to talk to someone who has over two decades of experience in hospital care, spanning across a variety of medical settings. She has specifically worked with patients diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome
and spina bifida; she has also had years of NICU and highly specialized neonatal care experience. Her sensitivity towards and knowledge of these issues makes her an invaluable member of the Reiter and Walsh, P.C. team.
“For over 30 years, Wigs 4 Kids has been providing Hair Replacement Systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families.”
